Who we are

This website, keevaimpex.com, is operated by Keeva Impex, a supplier of laboratory-grown diamonds based in Mumbai, India (“Keeva Impex”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. If you have any question about this policy or your information, write to us at contact@keevaimpex.com.

What we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us. When you send a request through our quote form, we receive:

• your name, company, country or market, business email and phone or WhatsApp number;
• the details of your requirement, such as shape, size, colour, clarity, grading, quantity, target price and any message you write;
• any file you attach, such as a stock list or specification sheet.

If you email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information contained in that communication, including your contact details.

Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically record basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use the site, as described under Cookies and analytics below.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and prepare options, pricing and documentation;
• process, ship and document any order you place, including export and customs paperwork;
• keep records of our business dealings with you and follow up on requirements you have shared;
• meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations; and
• protect the website and our business against fraud and misuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to send marketing you have not asked for.

Our basis for using it

We handle your information because you have asked us to respond to an enquiry or supply diamonds, because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, and where the law requires us to keep certain records. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, these are the legal bases we rely on under data protection law. In India, we process the information you provide for the purpose for which you gave it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to do the things described above:

• Service providers who run parts of our business for us, including our website host (Hostinger) and our email provider (Google Workspace). They process information on our instructions.
• Analytics providers, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept analytics cookies. They show us how the site is used and process this data on our behalf.
• Logistics, insurance and customs partners, when you place an order that we need to ship and document.
• Manufacturers and diamond houses we source from, but only the specification of your requirement, not your contact details, unless you ask us to.
• Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to by law or need to protect our legal rights.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms. The quote form loads a small script from the jsDelivr content network to power the country code search, which means your browser connects to that network when you open the form.

International transfers

We are based in India and our service providers may store information in other countries. When you contact us from outside India, your information will be transferred to and handled in India and wherever our providers operate. We take reasonable steps to make sure it remains protected wherever it is held.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and order information for as long as we need it to deal with your requirement and any continuing business relationship, and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting or other laws require. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, form submissions are stored in a password-protected system, and access is limited to the people at Keeva Impex who need it to handle your enquiry. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw any consent you gave, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email contact@keevaimpex.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors find and use this website: which pages are viewed, where visits come from, which buttons are clicked and whether a quote request is sent. Clarity may record how pages are scrolled and clicked; it does not capture what you type into forms. If you decline, neither tool is loaded.

Your choice is stored in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and you will be asked again. We do not use advertising cookies. The website may also set a small number of strictly necessary cookies, for example to keep administrators signed in.

Children

This website is for businesses in the diamond and jewellery trade. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
